Stamps in Storage Cases

I have been busy creating my first line of rubber stamps. I started sketching some tiny, cute drawings and just went crazy. I have 17 sets altogether. I custom ordered the stamps to be made of deep-etched red rubber. I can’t believe the detail! They are mounted on cling foam and packaged in these re-purposed floppy disk jewel cases (rare 3-disk case). I figure these jewel cases would probably eventually end up in a landfill somewhere since floppy disks have mostly gone the way of the Dodo. They were also LESS expensive then placing a laminated card into a plastic bag and I figure, since they offer convenient storage, MUCH LESS LIKELY TO BE THROWN AWAY. I have handmade the labels for the cases using an adorable kraft label made from 100% recycled paper. I also hand punched the corners and hand-stamped the images on the outer packaging so that the sizing would be exactly. The stamps came on an unmounted sheet, so I also had to hand-cut each stamp. I trimmed them very close because this helps avoid traces of ink around the stamp. This also makes placement much easier when stamping.

I’ve listed the stamps on my etsy page, for now, but I’m hoping to get a web shop going soon. Right now, my Etsy is kinda a hodge podge since I usually have way too many ideas than I know what to do with. I do plan deleting many of the items when I open my shop, so be sure to get the items you like soon or they may not be available again!
