After my last post I wanted to write in a few other uses/crafts I’ve discovered for pantyhose.

Pantyhose Tattoos

1. Print and cut out design. Tape to card stock insert. Use a sharpie to trace over design.

2. Or use acrylic paint to trace and color design.

Candle Jar Cozy

I like the way the pantyhose look stretched over a glass vase or jar with a lit candle inside. Gather or tear holes in pantyhose for another cool look.

Wristbands

Anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t like much jewelry. Mainly because it’s uncomfortable. But I love wrist bands because they don’t bug me as much as other types of jewelry. This wristband was made from a ring cut from a legging.

More uses:

- Dollmaking

- The tops of knee-highs make great hair ties. The tops of pantyhose make great headbands.

- As Yarn

- Of course there are the fairy wings that everyone likes to make!

Here’ she comes up with more ideas on what you can do with them, including drawing and painting on them to create the illusion of a tattoo. She also has ideas for other projects like candle jar cozies, wristbands, and more. Link. [...]

I’ve been looking all over to buy tattoo pantyhose since I saw them a year ago in NYC.

I never even thought of doing it myself!
