Here's a variation I saw though (sorry no link to the picture). Use a very small piece (wrist circumference) of the expensive bridal lace sold in sewing stores to wrap around. Secure with small hooks & eyes or small velcro circles. Embellish with dainty flower bud appliques, sequins, pearls, seed beads, etc! I love this idea– the hooks are a great idea.
